Sources
Nothing on this site is ours alone. Here is where each number comes from, how old it is, and how often we refresh it.
{total_sources} datasets, from {agency_count} agencies, behind {total_metrics} measures.
How we handle numbers
Address search on this site uses OpenStreetMap's Nominatim (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) and the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoder. We only look up the address you type, and we keep no record of who typed it.
We show the margin of error.
Small neighborhoods have wide ones. When a number is too shaky to trust, we say so instead of showing it.
We do not adjust or model.
What the source publishes is what you see. The one exception is our composite index, and its recipe is public.
We date everything.
Every measure shows its year and when we last pulled it. Old is fine. Undated is not.
The index
The Community Health Intervention Priority Index puts public measures on one scale so neighborhoods can be compared. The weights are published and never change quietly.
